Malaysia Airports posts Q2 loss


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) posted a net loss of RM44.67mil in the second quarter ended June 30, 2014, a stark contrast from the net profit of RM101.99mil a year ago, mainly due to a higher share of associate losses.

The losses were on the back of a 20.19% increase in revenue to RM1.18bil. Earnings per share was (-3.39 sen) from 8.35 sen previously.
