Petronas announces first oil production from Bentara field


KUALA LUMPUR: The Bentara field in the Balai Cluster Risk Service Contract (RSC) area, located offshore Sarawak, achieved its first oil production on May 25, said Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas).

In a statement yesterday, it said the field, which was expected to produce over 1,000 barrels of oil per day was being developed and operated by BC Petroleum Sdn Bhd.
