KLCI falls nine points in early trade, MAS in focus


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's blue chips skidded at the start of Friday's trade, with the FBM KLCI falling more than nine points, with Malaysia Airlines (MAS) in focus after its flight MH17 was shot down over Ukraine.

At 9.02am, the KLCI was down 9.01 points to 1,874.13. Turnover was 150.83 million shares valued at RM48mil. There were 17 gainers, 292 losers and 132 counters unchanged.
