DiGi Q2 profit up 31% on Internet revenue


PETALING JAYA: DiGi.Com Bhd’s net profit rose 31.3% to RM499mil for the second quarter ended June 30, 2014, from RM380mil in the previous corresponding period, thanks to stronger Internet revenue growth and efficient cost structure.

During the quarter in review, the mobile telecommunication services provider said its revenue rose 5.6% to RM1.75bil from RM1.65bil, while its earnings per share (EPS) increased to 6.42 sen, compared with 4.89 sen previously.
