PETALING JAYA: SIPP Energy Sdn Bhd, which has secured the contract for the development of Project 4A, has not approached Malakoff Corp Bhd over the power plant project.
SIPP Energy said in a statement to StarBiz that it had never made any overtures to Malakoff for the project to develop a new 1,000 megawatt (MW)-1,400MW combined cycle gas turbine power plant in Johor.
