KLCI ekes out slight gains, CIMB, Public Bank up


KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI eked out slight gains at the midday break on Monday, supported by mild buying of CIMB and Public Bank, but the overall market was cautious in lacklustre trade.

At 12.30pm, the KLCI was up 0.56 of a point or 0.03% to 1,883.71. Turnover was 1.37 billion shares valued at RM907.46mil. There were 300 gainers, 384 losers and 347 counters unchanged.
