Harvest Court: EGM notice not circulated to shareholders

KUALA LUMPUR: Harvest Court Industries Bhd confirmed on Monday the notice of the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) on Aug 8 called by two shareholders - Zenith City Investment Ltd and Syawaras Sdn Bhd -- has not been circulated to shareholders.

Harvest Court chief executive officer Datuk Raymond Chan said on Monday the EGM by Zenith and Syawaras was to bypass a mandatory general offer for the company.

Chan said he had recorded on tape Datuk Eddie Chai saying he and the parties acting in concert with him had 33% or 34% stake in Harvest Court and that Kenneth Vun has at least 10% of shares in Harvest Court.
