Seadrill gets commitments for RM4.3bil credit line


KUALA LUMPUR: Seadrill Ltd, which owns 8.18% of SapuraKencana Petroleum Bhd, has secured a US$1.35bil (RM4.3bil) credit facility from 17 banks to refinance its credit facilities which will provide it with US$350mil (RM1.1bil) in additional cash.

In an announcement yesterday, the Norwegian company said it had received commitments from the banks for the credit facility with a five-year term and 10-year amortisation profile to refinance the credit facilities secured by the West Pegasus, West Gemini, and West Orion.
