KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is the first airline to introduce Required Navigation Performance (RNP AR) approaches on Boeing 737-80 aircraft in South-East Asia, said director of operations Captain Izham Ismail.
In a statement yesterdat, Izham said that MAS had obtained the Department of Civil Aviation’s nod to fly the RNP AR approaches, which gave it a tremendous ability to optimise Next-Generation 737 operations in varying and demanding conditions.
