KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia may not decide to hike interest rates on Thursday as there may not be a 'compelling enough' reason to do so, said Kenanga's economist Wan Suhaimie on Wednesday.
Expectations of a rate hike have been building up since May after Bank Negara said in a statement that financial imbalances remained a concern.
