KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's FBM KLCI crossed the 1,890 level at midday on Monday, supported by gains in Petronas Gas and banks, bucking the lacklustre Asian stock markets.
At 12.30pm, the KLCI was up 5.97 points to 1,890.88. Turnover was 969.97 million shares valued at RM856.72mil. There were 401 gainers, 315 losers and 323 counters unchanged.
