Argentina says 'urgent solution' needed to debt fight

Axel Kicillof, Argentina's economy minister, gave no sign of whether Buenos Aires would abide by a US judge's order to pay more than US$1.3bil to holdouts hedge funds that swooped in to pick up Argentine bonds for dimes on the dollar and then refused to take a haircut, demanding instead full payment - EPA Photo.

Kicillof told a special meeting at the Organisation of American States in Washington on the country's fight with "vulture" hedge fund bondholders that the country wants action, "not just words."
