Stock markets in Europe and Asia looked past gains by Iraqi militants and poor first-quarter growth in the US on Thursday as some investors raised their forecasts for a US economic bounce in coming months, Reuters reported.
The positive sentiment trickled down to the Malaysian stock market which saw the KLCI eking out a gain of 0.42 of a point or 0.02% to close at 1,889.97.
