TANGKAK: National carmaker Proton’s market will only “linger” on the domestic front if it continues to depend on government protection to sustain operations, said Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry Datuk Hamim Samuri.
He said Proton needed to find ways for its cars to break into the international market in line with the achievements of South Korean and Japanese vehicle manufacturers.
