KLCI, Asian markets end in the red


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's FBM KLCI closed near Thursday's intra-day low of 1,872 in lacklustre trade, mirroring the cautious key regional markets due to expected slower growth for the global economy.

At 5pm, the FBM KLCI was down points or 4.51 points or 0.24% to 1,873.87. Turnover was 1.18 billion shares valued at RM1.45bil. There were 313 gainers, 400 losers and 374 stocks unchanged.
