Ridu is appointed CEO of Seda


PUTRAJAYA: The Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry has appointed Catherine Ridu chief executive officer of Sustainable Energy Development Authority (Seda) succeeding Datin Badriyah Abdul Malek whose term ended on May 31.

Prior to her appointment, Ridu was the Ministry’s under-secretary of the regulatory and industry development division from April 25, 2013 to May 31, 2014. Before that, she was under-secretary of the international relations unit of the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry from 2010 to early 2012.
