KUALA LUMPUR: Puncak Semangat Sdn Bhd will spend RM2bil for capital expenditure over 15 years to develop digital terrestrial TV (DTT) infrastructure and network facilities in its bid to fully digitalise free-to-air stations in the nation by 2016.
Currently free-to-air stations in the country are using the analogue broadcasting method. Puncak Semangat was awarded a 15-year concession by Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to develop the DTT infrastructure in April.
