Five firms form consortium to bid for rail projects


KUALA LUMPUR: Newly-launched company Colas Rail System Engineering Sdn Bhd, under the Colas French group, has signed an memorandum of agreement (MoA) with four parties to form a consortium in its bid to secure a rail system contract for light rail transit (LRT) line 3 and other upcoming rail projects in the country.

LRT line 3 is proposed to be from Bandar Utama to Klang with an estimated total cost of over RM9bil.
