KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has clarified that it has never issued or subscribed for bonds to finance Malaysia Airlines (MAS) as reported by the media. “The EPF Act 1991 does not allow us to issue any bonds,” it said in a statement yesterday.
The EPF also said the last form of financing that it provided for the national airline was in 1994, which had been fully paid in 2004.
