PETALING JAYA: The tragic disappearance of flight MH370 has had a devastating effect on the financial results of Malaysia Airlines (MAS), which has reported a net loss of RM443mil for the first three months of 2014.
The loss is 59% more than the RM279mil reported in the same period a year ago. It is also its biggest net loss in over two years and its fifth consecutive quarter of losses.
