Malacca plant to contribute 10% to Petronas Gas profit this year

KUALA LUMPUR: Petronas Gas Bhd anticipates that the liquefied natural gas regasification terminal (RGT) in Sungai Udang, Malacca, will contribute 8% to 10% to the group’s profit-after-tax this year.

Chairman Datuk Anuar Ahmad said the Sungai Udang RGT commenced operations in the second quarter last year and contributed some 5%, or RM163.5mil, to the group’s 2013 accounts.
