UMW-OG confident of securing 3 contracts in 2014


KUALA LUMPUR: UMW Oil & Gas Corp Bhd (UMW-OG) is confident of securing at least three contracts in 2014, out of the 20 that it is currently bidding for, said president Rohaizad Darus.

"This year we will have three available rigs, therefore I think the opportunities to secure jobs for them are there," he told Bernama on the sidelines of its taking delivery in Singapore recently of its latest jack-up drilling rig, the UMW Naga 5, from Keppel FELS.
