UMW-OG shares respond well to company's contract bids


KUALA LUMPUR: UMW Oil & Gas Corp Bhd's share on Bursa Malaysia rose in the morning session on Monday on news that the company is in the midst of bidding for 20 contracts worth RM1.9bil.

As at 11.53 am, the counter rose seven sen or 1.7% to RM4.20 after opening flat at RM4.23, with 3.58 million shares changing hands.
