PBA Holdings proposes water hike for consumers by 20.05% (Update)

KUALA LUMPUR: PBA Holdings Bhd's subsidiary, Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang (PBAPP), has proposed to increase the water tariffs for consumers by 20.05% and for trade consumers by 18.8% to reduce wastage and conserve the resources.

It said on Friday PBAPP had submitted an application to National Water Services Commission (SPAN) for the water tariff revision proposal under the Water Services Industry Act 2006 (WSIA).
