MAHB net profit up 2% on surge in traffic


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd’s (MAHB) net profit in the first quarter climbed 2% to RM128.71mil from RM126.06mil a year ago, as passenger movements grew 18.1% to 20.6 million versus 17.4 million.

Revenue, however, plunged 23.96% to RM781.08mil against RM1.03bil due to a drop in construction revenue, the company said in an announcement to Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
