Anthony See says 'no' to Kian Joo sale

PETALING JAYA: Kian Joo Can Factory Bhd director Datuk Anthony See Teow Guan, who is the only member of the See family on the company’s board, has declared that he is now against the proposed disposal of the assets and liabilities of the company for RM1.47bil or RM3.30 apiece.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Kian Joo said that See’s reason for the change in decision was in light of the letter of interest received from Toyota Tsusho Corp (TTC), the trading arm of the Toyota Group.
