Tenaga, Axiata restrain KLCI’s rebound


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s FBM KLCI fell in early Tuesday trade, restrained by mild selling of  key stocks Tenaga Nasional and Axiata though key regional markets climbed as investor sentiment was lifted by the firmer overnight close on Wall  Street.

At 9.03am, the FBM KLCI was down 2.47 points to 1,849.06. Turnover was 123.85 million shares valued at RM41.19mil. There were 154 gainers, 57 losers and 157 counters unchanged.
