KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI got off its intra-day low at Thursday’s close from late buying of FGV and BAT, while Asian shares rose on Fed’s minutes, unfazed by China’s weak data.
At 5pm, the KLCI closed up 3.77 points or 0.2% to 1,859.52. Turnover was 2.08 billion shares valued at RM2.322bil. There were 546 gainers, 307 decliners and 306 counters unchanged.
