KUALA LUMPUR: Although the malt liquor market is going through a soft patch, Guinness Anchor Bhd (GAB) plans to roll out five new brands this year skewed towards the premium and super-premium categories in a bid to capture the high-end segment when the market turns, according to managing director Hans Essaadi.

“I foresee that the market will remain tough. At the same time our market share has shown an upward trend,” Essaadi said without revealing any figures.
