KLCI closes at year high, boost from BAT, Tenaga


KUALA LUMPUR: Late buying of BAT and sustained fund support for Tenaga Nasional enabled the FBM KLCI to close at this year's high of 1,862.90.

At 5pm, the FBM KLCI was up 6.29 points or 0.34% to 1,862.90. The all-time closing high was 1,872.52 on Dec 30, 2013. Turnover was 2.12 billion shares valued at RM2.27bil. There were 372 gainers, 452 losers and 298 stocks unchanged.
