Wong named MDA president

CARAT Media Services (M) Sdn Bhd head of digital Kenneth Wong (pic) has been elected president of the Malaysian Digital Association (MDA).

MDA says in a statement that Paul Moss of Media Prima Digital remains the vice president while Jordan Chua of Tequila-Myalo Malaysia and Serm Teck Choon of The Star have been elected secretary and treasurer respectively.

MDA was formed in December 2009 to unify and act as the watchdog for the digital advertising and marketing industry in Malaysia.

Unofficial figures place Internet advertising expenditure (adex) in this country at about RM400mil which hovers above the radio adex.
