KLCI closes up on late push, Public Bank record high (Update)


KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI closed higher on late buying on key stocks on Thursday with Public Bank at a record high of RM20 but selling of Tenaga Nasional held back the index's advance.

At 5pm, the KLCI was up 3.63 points or 0.2% to 1,855.63. Turnover was 2.12 billion shares valued at RM2.81bil. There were 420 gainers, 415 losers and 336 counters unchanged.
