Yinson records higher net profit on new projects


PETALING JAYA: Yinson Holdings Bhd made a net profit of RM26.3mil or 12.34 sen per share for its fourth quarter ended Jan 31, 448% higher than a net profit of RM4.8mil or 2.46 sen per share for the same period a year earlier, helped by contribution from its new projects.

The floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) operator said in a statement that earnings contribution came from the FSO, PTSC Bien Dong 01, which commenced operations in the third quarter and also from the group’s newly-acquired subsidiary, Yinson Production AS.
