KUALA LUMPUR: In its effort to diversify its income streams, Fitters Diversified Bhd
intends to set up two local pipe manufacturing plants, with future plans for another two in Thailand and Indonesia to supply a superior type of pipes to the region.
The group’s strategy is to first invest RM80mil in capex to build a “orientated PVC” (PVC-O) pipe manufacturing plant in Gebeng, Kuantan with a capacity of 11,000 tonnes per year or an estimated pipe length of 3,700km.
