BNM Annual Report: Household debts rise at slowest pace to RM854.3bil


KUALA LUMPUR: Measures to rein in the excessive accumulation of debts by households since 2010 saw aggregate household borrowings growing at the slowest pace of 11.7% to RM854.3bil in 2013. 

Bank Negara Malaysia said this was the lowest growth compared with 13.5% for 2012 and also 2011 and 15.1% in 2010.
