KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit fell the most in seven weeks after China’s exports unexpectedly declined and US jobs data spurred speculation the stimulus would be trimmed further.
The currency halted a four-day rally following a Saturday report that showed shipments from China, Malaysia’s second-biggest overseas market, declined 18.1% from a year earlier, the most since 2009.
