PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara, whose road show to promote e-payments among small businesses arrived in Kuching on Wednesday, says achieving the e-payment migration goal may save the country 1% of GDP annually.
The road show, jointly organised with the Association of Banks in Malaysia and the Association of Islamic Banking Institutions Malaysia, is part of an educational campaign undertaken by Bank Negara and the banking industry to push online banking services, especially Interbank-Giro (IBG), and to provide hands-on demonstrations to promote its usage.
