FRESH from bagging its maiden oil and gas (O&G) job in Mexico, shipbuilder Coastal Contracts Bhd has already set its sights on more upstream work there as the Latin American country opens the door to its once-cloistered energy industry.
Coastal Contracts announced this week it had secured a RM1.24bil charter for a floating jack-up gas compression service unit (GCSU), the group’s first such asset.
