UEM Sunrise, KLK in RM20bil Iskandar project


KUALA LUMPUR: UEM Sunrise Bhd and Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd (KLK) have joined hands to develop several plots of land in Johor's Iskandar Malaysia involving their landbank in Gerbang Nusajaya and Fraser Metropolis.

The Gerbang Nusajaya project is to be developed by Scope Energy Sdn Bhd, a 60:40 joint venture of KLK and UEM Sunrise, while the land in Fraser Metropolis further north of Johor will be managed by Aura Muhibah Sdn Bhd, a 60:40 joint venture between UEM Sunrise and KLK, the two companies said in a briefing on Friday.
