KLCI firms up at midday, PetGas lifts

KUALA LUMPUR: The FBM KLCI ended Thurday’s morning session higher spurred by gains in PetGas as investors sentiments perked up ahead of Friday’s US payrolls report.

At 12.30pm, the KLCI was up 3.63 points or 0.2% to 1,789.51. Turnover was 872.32 million shares valued at RM967.84mil. There were 327 gainers, 256 decliners and 311 counters unchanged.
