PETALING JAYA: The comprehensiveness of the latest edition of the National Automotive Policy (NAP) and a growing market in South-East Asia are two factors that would help make the current NAP a bigger success than its two predecessors, said International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed.
He said the new NAP also aimed at making the national car industry more competitive, and that the injection of competition into the car market would benefit the nation.
