PETALING JAYA: Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd
, via jointly controlled entity Lime Petroleum Norway AS, has been awarded five new offshore licences in the 2013 Awards in Predefined Areas licensing round for geographically mature areas, according to a statement issued by Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.
The licences are for tracts located in the North Sea, Norwegian Sea and the Barents Sea, with Lime Petroleum Norway holding a varied 12.5% to 25% stake in each of the tracts.
