KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB), via its wholly-owned subsidiary Syarikat SESCO Bhd, has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) term sheet with Malaysian Phosphate Additives (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd (MPA) to supply 150 megawatts (MW) of power to the latter’s phosphorus plant.
Sarawak Energy said in a statement that the signing of the PPA yesterday would be beneficial for MPA’s plant in the Samalaju Industrial Park to manufacture food, animal feed and fertiliser phosphates for use in the local and export markets. — Bernama
