PETALING JAYA: CIMB Group has appointed Tengku Datuk Zafrul Tengku Aziz (pic) as chief executive officer (CEO) of CIMB Investment Bank Bhd (CIMB IB) effective Jan 2, 2014.

He will succeed Datuk Charon Wardini Mokhzani who left CIMB in October for Khazanah Nasional Bhd.

Tengku Zafrul will also assume the roles as head of CIMB Group’s investment banking division and co-head of corporate clients solutions (CCS) division.
