PETALING JAYA: Boustead Holdings Bhd will be issuing a junior Islamic medium-term note programme worth RM1.2bil in a bid to strengthen its capital base after obtaining approval from the Securities Commission.
The group said in a statement the programme entailed the issuance of perpetual junior sukuk, which would be utilised to finance its capital expenditure, working capital requirements and refinance existing borrowings.
