Toll concessionaires told to consider people's response to proposed toll hike

PUTRAJAYA: Highway concessionaires need to conduct viability studies taking into consideration the rakyat’s response to any proposed toll rate hike, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Abdul Wahid Omar said.

He said the Government would analyse the proposals’ viability including looking at the traffic volume and its commercial viability and bankability for the concessionaire.
