Govt to attract 13 MNCs to base global ops in M'sia

PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia has set its sights on attracting 13 multinational companies next year to base their global operations in Malaysia. They include six international trading companies with projected total turnover of US$600mil (RM1.9bil) .

“For 2014, Malaysia will see exciting developments in the pipeline, in support of our pursuit to become the centre for global operations, services and trading,” Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said in his speech at the “ETP in the Third Year of Implementation” event yesterday.
