Bumi Armada units get job extension


PETALING JAYA: Bumi Armada Bhd’s units have secured a two-year extension worth RM221mil for their contracts with Afren Energy Resources Bhd for the bareboat charter and the operations and maintenance of a floating production, storage and offloading (FSPO) vessel.

In a statement, the company said the two-year extension of contracts secured by its units, Armada Floating Solutions Ltd and Bumi Armada (S) Pte Ltd, for the bareboat charter and the operations and maintenance, respectively, of the FSPO Armada Perkasa, which has been operating offshore Nigeria in the Okoru-Setu field, would take effect from July 1, 2014.
