Window dressing sends KLCI to record close (Update)


KUALA LUMPUR: Window dressing sent the FBM KLCI to its highest ever close on Monday, with the 30-stock index at 1,841.87 on local fund buying of banks, plantations and Petronas stocks.

At 5pm, the KLCI was up 0.82% or 14.92 points to 1,841.87 and ye4ar-to-date it is up 9.05%. Turnover was 1.14 billion shares valued at RM1.45bil.
