KUALA LUMPUR: Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd’s third quarter ended Oct 2013 rose 4.7% to RM123.7mil from RM118mil a year ago due to the increase in EBITDA of RM75.9mil, which was offset by an increase in depreciation of set-top boxes of RM48.5mil and an increase in net finance cost of RM26.4mil.
In a Bursa filing on Thursday, the group said its revenue rose 12.8% to RM1.21bil from RM1.07bil a year ago due to the increase in subscription, advertising and other revenue of RM77.5mil, RM27.3mil and RM33.3mil each.
